Installing Your Wove V8 or Mags Saddle

  • Only use seat post clamps designed for 7mm round rails.

  • Please use the torque specifications suggested by the manufacturer of your seat post clamp.

  • Do not clamp beyond the Max markings on the rails.

  • Setting up your Wove saddle:

    • For Mags: Place a level on the flat part of the saddle nose and adjust the saddle angle so that the level is at -0°. Adjust as needed. It is common for athletes to ride between 0° and -2°.

    • For V8: Place a level on the flat part of the saddle nose and adjust the saddle angle so that the level is at -3°. Adjust as needed. It is common for athletes to ride between -3° and -6°. Adjust the fore/aft of the saddle so that you are sitting on the front part of the saddle nose - this will place your thighs ahead of the nose of the saddle and prevent thigh rubbing.

Install A Water Bottle Cage On The Wove V8 Saddle

Hardware Placement:

For beind-the-saddle bottle cage setups, mount the provided T-plate so that the bottle cage is sandwiched between the T-plate and the shell, as shown in the image to the left. Max torque for the water bottle cage bolts is 3 Nm.

To use the included Bottle Retention Loop, mount the plate of the loop to the rearmost bolt, on top of the rear of the saddle shell.

The retention loops are designed to prevent bottles over 24oz and non-standard bottles, like those passed out at Ironman races, from being ejected during the course of a ride.

It is possible to mount two cages, with one cage on top for a super clean & aero set up. Note: when sitting up, your bum will touch the upper bottle, so stick to one cage for most riding, or consider using a Wolftooth B-Rad mounting base to place one or both bottles further rearward.

Two-Cage Setups:

Double bottle cage set up with 30oz bottles

At this time, we suggest using an XLAB Gorilla cage

  • We suggest using a bottle less than 24oz in volume to avoid bottle ejection from the XLAB cage without the use of a retention loop

  • Our own Bottle Retention Loops (sold seperately) are a great solution to prevent any chances of bottle ejection

If you need a shorter reach back to your BTS bottle, or if you want your BTS bottle at a 45° angle, we recommend purchasing separately the ICE Bottle Cage Riser.
